Canoes

Camp Attawandaron has a total of 16 canoes for rent. There is a fee of $25.00 per canoe, per day, for Non-Scouting usage. Life Jackets, paddles and safety kits are also provided for campers' use. With the access to the Ausable Cut, campers can explore the waterway. Because it is not a fast water river, it is an excellent place for beginners to learn. The waterway also has access to both the Pinery Provincial Park and Lake Huron. The canoes can be booked in groups of 8. Please reserve canoes with your booking.

IMPORTANT: Camp Attawandaron is NOT a public canoe rental facility. Canoes are available only to groups that have an approved camp booking at Camp Attawandaron. We do not rent canoes to individuals or to members of the general public for off-site or day-use canoe trips. Please do not come to the camp to rent a canoe without an existing group camping reservation.
